Conflict Minerals Policy: "Refuse to purchase or use conflict minerals from regions with conflict"
The Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) points out that the production of certain minerals has become the primary financial source of militia groups in the Democratic Republic of the Congo in Africa, leading to international armed conflict and violation of human rights. Mineral mines such as columbium tantalite, cassiterite, wolframite, and gold are refined into tantalum (Ta), tin (Sn), tungsten (W), cobalt (Co), and gold (Au) which are otherwise known as conflict minerals.
Due to our duties of corporate social responsibility and international justice at J&T Flex Technology, we are committed to banning the purchase and use of conflict minerals illegally produced from Congo and nearby conflict regions. Additionally, we investigate the mineral sources of our suppliers and partners to ensure that their materials have not been obtained by mines in conflict regions or illegal smuggling. We will continue to monitor the issue of conflict minerals and comply with international standards to protect client rights and abide by RBA guidelines to perform our duty in corporate social responsibility.
